NAAC Accredited (Grade-‘B+’) 2nd Cycle





1. Students irrespective of caste, creed, and religion can study in the college. For admission to the college, a student has to submit his/her relevant documents i.e. Admit Cards of Madhyamik/Higher Secondary Examinations, and Mark Sheets of Madhyamik/Higher Secondary Examinations to the concerned dealing clerk in the office. He/She has to submit two passport-size photographs along with the relevant testimonials. Admission Forms and Prospectus can be obtained from the office.

2. Students seeking admission from other colleges have to furnish relevant documents and a transfer certificate.

3. It is mandatory on the part of the students to collect proper identity card during their admission and also at the beginning of a new academic session.

4. Students have to produce their identity cards on demand from the college authority.

5. The college adheres to the University laid down norms regarding admission.

6. The college authority is the highest body to decide on the Students’ admission issue.

7. A student will not be allowed to sit in the examination if his/her attendance is below 60% of the total number of classes taken.





The admission process is conducted following the steps mentioned below:

1. Meeting of the Admission Committee and setting of admission criteria in such meeting

2. Notification of admission criteria by the Principal in College Website and College Notice Board.

3. Online application by eligible candidates

4. Publication of first merit list in the college website

5. Taking online admission by intended students and submission of admission fees at designated bank branches.

6. If seats remain vacant, 2nd and subsequent merit lists are published 

7. Verification of original testimonials of admitted students at the college, by faculties and office staffs. If any anomalies found, admission is canceled; otherwise, students are advised for taking registration in the affiliated University. 




1. The confirmation of admission is simply on merit basis


2. Percentage of marks in related subjects in (+2)/H.S Examination as per the recommendation of the respective department, subject to minimum percentage of marks prescribed by the affiliated university


3. For admission in some subjects, along with the percentage of marks in the related subject, marks in the language subjects are also considered as admission criteria


4. Relaxation in required percentage of marks is given for SC/ST/PH and students having expertise in sports and games.


5. Total intake capacity, sanctioned by the affiliated university is classified under General, SC, ST, PH, and OBC category and an available number of seats under different categories for admission in particular subjects are notified accordingly.
